About Us

For years I would drive around Long Island, New York and see beautiful pieces of wood at the curb, prepared to meet its end on the way to the landfill. Finally in 2012 I had enough, I began rescuing these amazing pieces of pine and oak and giving them a second life.

This was made to order. I made steel straps 1 ½ in. all around and placed the wood into the strap loop. I used tiles I had from a bath room remodel as covers for each leg and a white wash finish.

My son is not included

(But at a price I am sure his wife may let him go)
